When Should I schedule?

Call Pelican State Inspection to schedule your home inspection as soon as you get an accepted contract. Don't delay, most real estate contracts only allow 7 - 10 days to have you inspection complete.

In order to schedule your inspection you will need to know the following.

  • Property Address
  •  Square Footage
  • Foundation Type

Please make sure that all the utilities are connected at the property prior to the inspection. These consist of:

  • Water Service
  • Electric Service
  • Gas Service

Pelican State Inspection will need access to the electric panel, attic, hot water heater, and furnace. Access to the crawlspace is also needed if there is one. We will also need all pilot lights on the gas fired appliances in the house light.
